Brent Johnson Brent Johnson, President and Acting Director of Manufacturing Activities
Brent earned a bachelor of science degree in general studies from Rockford College in Rockford, IL. He worked for 8 years for Hamilton-Sundstrand in Rockford in Planning & Provisioning, as well as 8 years for Saab Aircraft interfacing between Purchasing and Production personnel in Sweden and component vendors in the U.S. for the Saab 340 project.  Brent launched Midwest Aero Support in January 1990 and enjoys swimming, jogging, skiing and spending time with his children and grand-children in his spare time.
Bill Beecher Bill Beecher, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Bill spent 23 years at Pacific Propeller, learning repair activities and processes for propeller overhaul and joined MAS in July 1996 as General Manager. Bill has helped expand MAS repair capabilities, customer base and support to our customers. In September 2004, he returned to a sales position as VP Marketing and Sales, where his primary responsibilities are to promote our services, capabilities and support to current and future customers.
Joel Johnson Joel Johnson, Director or Repair Activities
During his service in the US Marine Corps Reserves, Joel joined MAS in October 1997 as an Inventory Control clerk. Later, he became a Certified Repairman and worked his way up to his current position of Director of Repair Activities. Joel’s hobbies include fishing and hunting as well as raising his two young children.
Claude Cordonnier Claude Cordonnier, Director of European Activities
Claude joined MAS in 1996 as Consultant / Director of European Operations.  He began his career in 1964 as a Maintenance Engineer with Sabena Belgian Airlines and was appointed Sabena Aircraft Material Manager within the ATLAS group in 1975, where he also served as Manager of EDP Resources and Logistics (1979) and General Manager of Aircraft Material Sales, Consignment Stores / Distribution Center for Europe, Africa and Middle East (1984).
Fred Beck Fred Beck, Sales Representative
Prior to joining MAS, Fred was employed by General Electric in field marketing and customer service positions in several locations.  He was recruited by Hamilton–Sundstrand in 1976 and served in several assignments in Customer Support and Headquarters Marketing before retiring in 1995 as Marketing Manager in the Commercial Electric Power Systems Division.  He also concurrently served as a flight engineer in the Naval Air Reserve for many years.  Fred joined MAS in 1996 as a Sales Representative.
Ron Benson Ron Benson, Inventory Control Manager
Ron spent 20 years in a variety of accounting functions at Hamilton–Sundstrand - from cost accounting to budgeting to developing total manufacturing costs including overhead rates for the end-items being manufactured. He also developed department budgets and P&L forecasting.  Ron joined MAS in 2006 as Inventory Control Manager.
Lynn Breed Lynn Breed, Purchasing Manager
Lynn began his aviation career at Hamilton-Sundstrand in 1977.  Over the course of 15 years, he held various positions in Production, Purchasing and Inventory Control.  Lynn later joined Barber Colman (Siebe / Invensys) Environmental Controls Division in the Purchasing Department and came to MAS in 2006 as Manager of the Purchasing Department.
Karen Dorcey Karen Dorcey, Production Manager, Manufacturing Activities
Karen enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1981, serving at MCAS Cherry Point and NAS Alameda as an avionics technician on the Douglas A4 aircraft.  She later moved to Illinois, where she completed her A&P license from Rock Valley College and joined MAS upon graduation in 1994.
Mike Lubbs Mike Lubbs, Quality Control Manager
Mike enlisted in the US Navy in 1989 and worked on helicopter engines. After serving in the Navy, Mike earned his A&P license at Rock Valley College and subsequently joined MAS in 1995 as a component technician.  In 2000, he was promoted to Chief Inspector and currently serves as Manager of Quality control and is responsible for maintaining FAA, AS9100 and ASQR certifications
Mary O'Neal Mary O’Neal, Customer Service Manager
Mary joined the MAS team in 1997 as an office administrator.  She has had experience in all aspects of the administrative processes of MAS including A/R, A/P, records, customer quotations, reliability reporting, TAT monitoring, production performance monitoring, contracts, order administration and maintaining the master price list.
Bob Pickett Bob Pickett, Production Manager, Repair Activities
Bob made a career of the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic /superintendent from 1966 to 1996. He joined American International Airways as Vice President of Maintenance from 1993 to 2000 and later became Director of Maintenance for RD Air from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, he joined MAS as Production Manager of Repair Activities.
